<p>Req Id: 35275</p> <p>Job Title: Athletic Facilities Oper Supv (Evening)</p> <p>City: West Lafayete</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Provide daily supervision and oversight for all Athletics Facilities Operations, including but not limited to, plan, coordinate and schedule custodial staff, routine operations cleaning, upkeep, light maintenance, and sports event set-up or tear down. Requisition general custodial supplies and maintain inventory for assigned buildings. Provide wage and capital equipment recommendations. For more than 150 years, we've been known for not only our groundbreaking work in STEM research, but also for our collective imagination, ingenuity and innovation.</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree </li><li>2 year custodial services or first line supervision or event management experience. </li><li>Prior supervisory experience necessary. </li><li>A valid Indiana driver's license </li></ul> <p>Skills needed:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally. </li><li>Must be able to read, interpret, communicate, and effectively adhere to Purdue University, Big Ten Conference and NCAA rules, regulations, and guidelines. Knowledge of custodial methodology and procedures, supervisory best practices, procedural instruction development and facility mechanical systems. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with coaches, administrators, and staff; ability to plan and organize work to meet established deadlines; </li><li>Must be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communications, leadership, planning, problem-solving, project management and customer support.
