Training is provided!</p> <p>This facility operates 24x7 and works 2 shifts per day (7:00 - 7:00 each.) Daily schedule includes weekend work on a rotating schedule. Shift assignment will be consistent but may not be permanent, so candidates must be able to work either day or night shift based on business needs.</p> <p>Night shift assignment receives $2.00 shift differential.</p> <p>Click here to explore a day in the life of an Ethanol Processor as described by one of our current employees.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for the daily plant operation functions associated with the production of fuel ethanol and associated co-products.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform processing functions in the cook, distillation, energy center and/or distributed control system (DCS) areas of ethanol production with assistance</p> </li><li> <p>Perform activities relating to processing functions such as corn grinding and cook operations, yeast and fermentation quality control, yeast, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler operations</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings or raw materials inputs as directed to ensure the optimal efficiency in the production process</p> </li><li> <p>Perform general product sampling, lab testing, document results, and report findings to crew leadership and/or laboratory personnel</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain documentation and record key production data as directed</p> </li><li> <p>Operate various types of mobile equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Perform general housekeeping tasks</p> </li></ul> <p>What is expected of you and others at this level</p> <ul> <li> <p>Has basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process</p> </li><li> <p>Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Works with close supervision</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred</p> </li><li> <p>0-2 years' relevant experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer operation and data entry skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver's license preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Previous production experience preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Working Environment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work is performed in a 24x7 Ethanol production facility</p> </li><li> <p>Production team works 12-hour shifts; two small crews scheduled per day, includes a day and night shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Work schedule includes weekend and holiday work. Shift assignment will be consistent. Must be flexible to work either day or night shift based on business needs.
