In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.</p> <p>Get paid to go to school for your CDL! - Have your CDL tuition paid for! - Have a job after your CDL training is complete!</p> <p>Check out this video to learn more about our program</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>$5,000 sign on bonus</p> <p>Get paid while attending school and your tuition is paid for.</p> <p>3 weeks paid vacation- First year</p> <ul> <li>40 hours at 90 days </li><li>40 hours at 120 days </li><li>Accrue 40 hours total in 1st year </li><li>40 hours at 1- year anniversary </li></ul> <p>Average salary of $92,000 a year once an established driver</p> <ul> <li>Including $9,400 for safety/performance bonuses annually </li></ul> <p>Basic job responsibilities of the Delivery Assistant position include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with unloading up to 30,000 pounds of product at our Kwik Trip Stores </li><li>Placing products in the correct location (cooler, freezer, backroom) </li><li>Being able to work with minimal supervision, in a safety conscious environment, and in a variety of weather/temperature conditions </li></ul> <p>CDL Delivery Assistant/CDL Driver Trainee Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>At least 18 years old to be a Delivery Assistant and CDL Driver Trainee </li><li>Excellent driving record in accordance with Kwik Trip's driving matrix </li></ul> <p>Specific CDL Driver Trainee Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>At least 18 years of age </li><li>Ability to meet DOT requirements upon the completion of training which include, but are not limited to a DOT drug screen and DOT physical </li><li>Willing to sign contract to enter Kwik Trip's CDL Tuition Reimbursement Program </li><li>Commitment to accept a driving position with Kwik Trip upon completion of apprenticeship </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements: Sit up to 6 hours at a time; stand up to 2 hours at a time; bend/reach/twist/stoop/squat frequently; lift up to 75 pounds to waist level occasionally; lift up to 70 pounds to 60 inches occasionally; lift up to 40 pounds to 72 inches frequently; carry 90 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>Trainees average 40-60 hours per week and follow schedule of the route driver they are assisting.</p> <p>Established route drivers will work a 4 days on, 2 days off rotating schedule, including holidays. This means every 7 weeks you would have both Saturday and Sunday off. Drivers typically work up to 50-60 hours per week and must be able to work a day shift schedule with a start time 3pm.</p> <p>16-week CDL Training Program Includes:</p> <p>Candidates will start as a Delivery Assistant for 3-5 weeks learning the technique of delivery. Schedule would be a 4 days on, 2 days off rotation, 3pm start time.</p> <p>The following 6-8 Weeks: Coworkers will complete the CDL training course, your schedule will be a day shift as you attend classes Monday through Friday.</p> <p>Second 6-8 weeks: Once promoted to a CDL Driver Trainee. The schedule will be a 4 days on, 2 days off rotation, with a 3pm start time working with Kwik Trip Trainers.
