<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Responsible for serving meals and beverages to patrons in a prompt, correct and courteous fashion in any of the</p> <p>property's food and beverage outlets and banquet areas. Demonstrate sanitary food handling and equipment safety,</p> <p>properly store and label food items, maintain standards of sanitation and food handling based on County, State and</p> <p>Federal regulations. Maintain clean and neat work area. Follow the Steps of service for the venue they are working</p> <p>as outlined in the venue policies and procedures. Availability to work a flexible schedule. Assure exceptional</p> <p>customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Must</p> <p>follow all cash handling SOP's of the venue they are working. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Previous serving experience required. Excellent customer</p> <p>service/communication skills essential . Available to work required schedule, as directed by department</p> <p>management. Must have neat and clean appearance and adhere to the casino policy on dress code and be out-going.</p> <p>Must have the ability to obtain and hold an Occupational License as required by the Indiana Gaming Commission</p> <p>and/ or Indiana Horse Racing Commission. Must be certified in Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness, and Indiana State</p> <p>approve Alcohol Training. Hold an Indiana ATC (Alcohol & Tobacco Commission) License. Position requires scheduling</p> <p>flexibility, may be required to work weekends, holidays, overnight, or overtime, based upon scheduling and business</p> <p>needs.</p> <p>REQUIRED PERSONAL COMPETENCIES</p> <p>Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
