And that's the kind of work we want to be part of.</p> <p>Lonza is currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join the Greenwood CHI team.</p> <p>POSITION: Process Engineer II</p> <p>JOB LOCATION: 535 North Emerald Road, Greenwood, SC 29646</p> <p>DUTIES: Provide engineering and technical support to manufacturing colleagues to maximize quality and productivity of capsule manufacturing. Determine and specify optimum processing parameters for hard capsule machines (HCM). Provide guidance, training, and technical information to shift leaders and manufacturing colleagues. Troubleshoot chronic manufacturing problems. Coordinate and perform size changes or projects on machines. Initiate and evaluate process improvement projects. Analyze HCMs to determine the most efficient processing parameters. Monitor productivity and capsule quality of machines in MFG. Troubleshoot hard gelatin machines (HGC) and Vcaps Plus (VCP) HCMs. Serve as a subject matter expert for manufacturing inquiries and issues regarding HCMs. Generate documents and graphs in MFG applications and report to management. Perform HCM production analysis and develop proposals for process improvements. Train manufacturing colleagues related to functionality of HCMs. Initiate improvements within and between departments. Achieve production objectives and maintain GMP compliance. Use Excel, Word, Power Point, FAP, MES, and specialized MFG programs. Utilize SGV, Borsor, Unisor, iBox, and scanners.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation determining and specifying optimum processing parameters for hard capsule machines (HCM); analyzing HCMs to determine the most efficient processing parameters; monitoring productivity and capsule quality of machines in MFG; troubleshooting hard gelatin machines (HGC) and Vcaps Plus (VCP) HCMs; generating documents and graphs in MFG applications and reporting to management; performing HCM production analysis and developing proposals for process improvements; achieving production objectives and maintaining GMP compliance; using Excel, Word, Power Point, FAP, MES, and specialized MFG programs; and utilizing SGV, Borsor, Unisor, iBox, and scanners.</p> <p>Every day, Lonza's products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
