<p>Req Id: 31375</p> <p>Job Title: Temporary Support - Gabis Events Coordinator</p> <p>City: Valparaiso</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Overview of Temporary Support - Gabis Events Coordinator</p> <p>The Gabis Arboretum is building a team of enthusiastic, passionate individuals to work in a variety of roles at the arboretum. Possible duties include assisting with the set-up, execution, and break down of events, general administrative duties, and cashiering duties.</p> <p>The schedule is flexible and dependent upon business needs. Weekend and evening coverage are required.</p> <p>Position Duration: This position begins May 1, 2024 and ends on October 31, 2024.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities of Temporary Support - Gabis Events Coordinator</p> <ul> <li>Assist with concerts and facility rentals such as weddings and birthday parties </li><li>Serve as on-site point of contact during assigned events </li><li>Assist with pre-event set up and post-event tear down </li><li>Responding to inquiries regarding social events at Gabis Arboretum. </li><li>Provide continued communication with client and give venue tours as needed. </li></ul> <p>Experience of Temporary Support - Gabis Events Coordinator</p> <p>The most successful candidates will have a combination of experience:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in events and/or customer service role </li><li>Ability to work independently, self-motivated </li><li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions </li><li>Strong communication skills </li></ul> <p>Education of Temporary Support - Gabis Events Coordinator</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li></ul> <p>FLSA Status</p> <p>Non-Exempt</p> <p>Apply now</p> <p>Posting Start Date: 4/23/24</p>
