This opportunity gives you the freedom to accept projects that fit your schedule while contributing to exciting and impactful work.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>We are seeking a certified Construction Engineer Level 2 to serve as the primary liaison between contractors and the engineer in observing and monitoring on-site work. This is a PRN (as-needed) position.</p> <p>As a Construction Engineer 2 at Environmental Design Group you will:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate inspection of project work </li><li>Ensure work performed by contractors is in compliance with all state and federal specifications </li><li>Correlate and analyze field data, review plans and records, support and prepare change orders </li><li>Assist with dispute resolution, estimates, conduct progress meetings, prepare meeting minutes and other related duties </li><li>Finalize or assist with finalizing and closing out the project </li><li>Perform data entry into ODOT's CMS/SITE MANAGER system or local documentation equivalent as directed by the project engineer or LPA person in responsible </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering </li><li>Requirements: Professional Engineers (PE) License in Ohio and ODOT Construction Engineer 2 (CE2) credential. </li><li>Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and computer-aided design </li></ul>
