<p>NURSING SUMMARY/ PURPOSE OF POSITION</p> <p>The Aultman Patient Logistics Nurse (RN) is a professional nurse that provides a coordinated approach to facilitate the flow of patients within the Aultman Healthcare Delivery System. The Patient Logistics RN is responsible for shift operations including patient bed assignments, clinical expert and resource for patient logistics and decision making. The RN Central Logistics manages throughput through triage of patient placements from all points of entry, internal and external transfers, and outside hospitals. RN Central Logistics is responsible for coordinating department functions with the operations of other hospital departments to maximize throughput and interdepartmental efficiency.
