<p>Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.</p> <p>Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team in Little Rock, AR.</p> <p>The Employee Benefits Account Executive serves as the overall service contact for small to medium book employee benefits customers. This role involves a high degree of independence and discretion in decision-making. The account executive works closely with clients to understand their needs, design customized benefits packages, develop additional lines of business, and ensure smooth implementation and administration of the benefit plans</p> <p>How You Will Contribute:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage and retain an existing book of business and pursue new opportunities through referrals and cross-selling.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish, cultivate and manage customer relations with customers and prospective decision-makers; as well as professional relationships with carrier partners, and internal resources throughout the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and direct renewal process for health and life coverages. Recommend the most appropriate insurance solutions, alternative strategies, plan modeling, and cost reduction opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance requirements are documented into the agency management system.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish, cultivate, and manage customer relations with all levels of customer's decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical customer representatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Routinely meet with and educate customers on benefits legislation, regulatory requirements, compliance, and new product information that are relevant to their market size.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify, develop, and oversee customer needs and service plans for each customer to ensure exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage resolution of customer issues as well as escalated employee enrollment and claims issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and execute proposals and presentations while ensuring agreement with customer's requests/requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the sales team with new business meetings and implementation of new customers.</p> </li></ul> <p>Licenses and Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Life & Health Insurance License required. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Experience to Be Successful:</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years' experience in the employee benefits industry.
