The SAP Developer work with SAP's Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) language to create applications that automate tasks, integrate with external systems, and support various business functions. SAP developers also troubleshoot issues, optimize code, and provide technical support. The position does not have supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>The IT SAP Developer is an exempt, full-time employee position.</p> <p>THIS POSITION IS A HYBRID AND LOCATED IN KENT, OHIO</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned </li><li>Follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <p>Development and Customization:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP. </li><li>Build and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms). </li><li>Optimize ABAP code and utilize CDS views in SAP systems. </li></ul> <p>System Integration:</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement SAP integrations using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and other methods. </li><li>Develop and support web services and system interfaces. </li></ul> <p>Technical Design and Documentation:</p> <ul> <li>Work with functional teams to gather requirements and create technical specs. </li><li>Document designs aligned with business needs and SAP best practices. </li></ul> <p>Performance Optimization:</p> <ul> <li>Review and optimize ABAP code for better performance. </li><li>Tune programs and database queries for efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Testing and Debugging:</p> <ul> <li>Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and debug SAP issues. </li><li>Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to standards. </li></ul> <p>Support and Maintenance:</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical support and troubleshoot SAP applications. </li><li>Handle maintenance and updates to ensure system stability. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Skilled in ABAP, including OO ABAP, BADIs, Adobe Forms. </li><li>Expert in CDS views and SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM). </li><li>Experience with SAP Workflow, SmartForms, and Scripts. </li><li>Familiar with SAP Fiori/UI5 (preferred). </li><li>5+ years of experience and 1+ S/4 HANA implementation. </li></ul> <p>Soft Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills. </li><li>Works well independently and in teams. </li><li>Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>?
