Ensures that all aspects of patient's records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.</p> <p>Formal Education Required:</p> <p>a. Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Prefer cross sectional anatomy knowledge.</p> <p>b. Preferred graduate of approved school of MRI Technology and/or registered by the ARRT for MRI.</p> <p>c. Willing to cross train CT Technologist with intent to obtain didactic MRI courses of ones choosing.</p> <p>Experience & Training Required:</p> <p>a. One (1) year MRI Technologist experience preferred.</p> <p>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:</p> <p>a. Ability to appropriately communicate with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.</p> <p>b. Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients and to apply and adjust restraining devices.</p> <p>c. Ability to lift and position patients.</p> <p>d. Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures (e.g. select X-ray procedures, etc.)</p> <p>e. Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records management as directed.</p> <p>f. Ability to initiate CPR (CPR Certification)</p> <p>g. Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with the customer service policy.</p> <p>h. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.</p> <p>Level of Physical Demands:</p> <p>a.
