The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.</p> <p>Position: Lunch/ Recess Aide Location: Chelmsford High School</p> <p>General Description: To provide student supervision to maintain a well-organized, smoothly functioning school environment. Duties include monitoring students for safety during lunch / break periods.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment to provide a safe and caring environment for all students. Manage students during meal service. Monitor students for safety and social interactions Communicate with students and staff in a positive professional manner. Supervise students during break time. Circulate throughout the cafeteria or in areas where meals are served. Perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Applicants should hold the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li><li>Experience working with children and/or teens </li><li>Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the high school level. </li><li>Experience working with age-appropriate students in a school setting. </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable. </li></ul> <p>Reports to: School Principal Workdays: 181-day work year Hours per week: 10:30 am - 1:00 pm or as needed (2.5 hours daily)</p>
