<p>Description</p> <p>The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing project support to the Arkansas Foodbank's Information Technology activities which include but are not limited to Arkansas technical support; troubleshooting and resolving end-user support issues; software, hardware and peripherals and network optimization and maintenance; tracking IT inventory and end-user assignment; maintain and continuous implementation of Enterprise Service Management platform; configuring, deploying, and supporting desktop, laptop, telephone, and peripheral devices; works with Senior Systems Administrator to plan and implement large scale projects; escalates issues to Senior Systems Administrator in a timely fashion.</p> <p>Arkansas Foodbank team members will demonstrate a commitment to our mission and to the fight against hunger in Arkansas. Team members must exemplify Arkansas Foodbank values while representing the organization at public, social, and business settings.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>The statements contained herein describe the scope of the responsibility and essential functions of this position but should not be considered to be an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned including work in other areas to cover absences or to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload. Individuals in this position may occasionally work irregular hours as necessary.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, through help desk or through email.</p> </li><li> <p>Write technology-based training manuals for existing and new software for the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Train computer users on new and existing technology software.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for onboarding of new staff. Configuring accounts, assigning hardware, ensuring that needs are met via in-person onboarding sessions on the first day of employment.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain regular performance of computer systems. Including patch management.</p> </li><li> <p>Walk user through problem-solving process.</p> </li><li> <p>Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors cybersecurity tools for possible breach of protocols from either internal or external sources. Notifies the Chief Information Officer and Senior Systems Administrator of any likely breach.</p> </li><li> <p>Decommission or provision computers via formatting, imaging, cloning or other IT approved methods.</p> </li><li> <p>Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors LAN/WAN environments for stability and performance. Adjusts when necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Install computer peripherals for users.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees maintenance and management of VOIP platform.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved.</p> </li><li> <p>Gain feedback from users about computer usage.</p> </li><li> <p>Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with updating documentation of new and existing staff resources.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete Service Report based on position experience and assigned projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee and upkeep the Enterprise Service Management system.</p> </li><li> <p>Make changes and works closely with other departments to implement new service offerings.</p> </li><li> <p>Track IT assets and user assignment using Asset Management component of ESM.</p> </li><li> <p>Aid in the researching and procurement of potential software and hardware solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Provide written and/or verbal reports of schedules, meetings, results, etc. to Senior Systems Administrator and Chief Information Officer.</p> </li></ol> <p>Commitment to Equal Opportunity and Inclusion</p> <p>Arkansas Foodbank is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities. The following qualifications are preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or CompTIA A+, CCNA preferred </li><li>Two years of relevant experience required </li><li>Working knowledge of administration in Active Directory, Directory Services, Entra ID </li><li>Proficient with LAN/WAN configuration and management </li><li>Effectively communicate technical issues to any audience </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines </li><li>Valid driver's license and proof of insurance </li><li>Willingness to travel to branch offices for IT support or installations </li><li>Flexible availability, including nights and weekends, as needed </li></ul>
