The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy is the national body that monitors and sanctions all programs. The accreditation of the transplant program depends on staff's high level of expertise in all aspects of patient selection, treatment, adverse events, response to treatment and follow-up care and quality tracking/reporting to the national organization. Duties outlined below reflect the level of knowledge required to ensure that all processes are followed and data accurately reported. Position must have a strong working knowledge of the extensive FACT requirements for accreditation, the purpose and requirements for audit documents and must facilitate training for all other clinical staff that work with transplant patients and maintain training documents. It takes 6-12 months for a new employee in the department to become functional given the level of orientation required. The Position works under the general supervision of the Cancer Service Line's FACT Director for Quality Management to collect, analyze, report and maintain a repository of quality metrics. Works with all IP and OP departments involved in the transplant process to document compliance with SOP's, completion of required training, develop new SOP's and insure current SOP's in on-site manuals. Supports the Director with analytics, presents information in meetings and helps develop schedules of work to meet national deadlines and audit preparation. Failure to meet requirements can result in the UAMS program being closed. Transplant is the key competitive advantage in the Cancer SL and generates many millions in revenue.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in health or management-related field plus 3 years general office experience.
