<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Fine and Performing Arts (FPA) at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) invites ongoing applications for part-time instructor pool in Art History, Arts Management, Music, and Theatre. Candidates should be committed to advancing the causes of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access through their teaching in undergraduate courses for a public liberal arts college</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver instruction appropriate to the topic, course description, intended learning outcomes, level, and student audience. </li><li>Promote and facilitate student success by creating an environment conducive to learning and student involvement. </li><li>Manage the learning environment through effective record-keeping, submitting grades and other reports on time, and enforcing school/campus academic, code of conduct, and attendance policies. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Required Qualifications to be considered for the Adjunct Pool:</p> <ul> <li>Terminal Degree in the artistic discipline of the course in question preferred; non-terminal Masters level work accepted </li><li>Undergraduate teaching experience desirable </li><li>Strong interest in working with students in an interdisciplinary department of with multiple majors across artistic disciplines </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities.
