<p>Reporting directly to the EMIP DVP Finance the Senior Contracts Specialist will support AMETEK'S EMIP Division. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with members of the Law Department as necessary, as well as independently. The Senior Contracts Specialist will ensure (i) that the review and negotiation of commercial agreements (including NDAs, master supply agreements, and PO Ts&Cs) for the EMIP business units are conducted in accordance with AMETEK standards, (ii) all required documentation is maintained per customer and AMETEK requirements, and (iii) serve as a general resource to EMIP business units for general contracting matters.</p> <p>Major Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Review, draft, negotiate and edit commercial contracts and terms and conditions, such as Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales/Supply/Purchase Agreements, Sales Representative and Distributor Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Master Agreements, and similar. </li><li>Work with business teams to ensure agreement terms align with key business points and risk mitigation standards. </li><li>Understand company contracting policies and identify commercial and legal risk. </li><li>Manage and update form documents to comply with legal and operational requirements. </li><li>Investigate and resolve contractual issues and disputes (elevating to Law Department as appropriate). </li><li>Assess business and legal risk and facilitate appropriate risk mitigation. </li><li>Escalate legal and factual issues to assist in resolution of issues. </li><li>Coordinate with Risk Management regarding contractual insurance requirements. </li><li>Required to work with Corporate legal to ensure that all actions are consistent with Corporate legal requirements. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Paralegal certificate from ABA approved program required or an licensed Attorney. </li><li>5+ years of experience drafting, editing, and negotiating commercial contracts / terms and conditions. </li><li>Manufacturing industry experience a plus, but not required. </li><li>Customer service experience in order to to support internal EMIP clients. </li><li>Experience with Export Control Regulations a plus, but not required. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills Required:</p> <ul> <li>Sales or customer service experience with significant customer contact. </li><li>Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. </li><li>Proficient in Word; Experienced in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. </li><li>Ability to handle high volume, work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities. </li><li>In person or hybrid </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) desirable but not required. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Employee Type: Salaried</p> <p>Salary Minimum: $80,000</p> <p>Salary Maximum: $115,000</p> <p>Incentive: No</p> <p>Disclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
