<p>Job Description:</p> <p>This position is responsible for hand polishing custom fabricated Cambria countertops.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria polish work as outlined in the polish SOPs</p> </li><li> <p>Identify profiled material that needs hand polishing</p> </li><li> <p>Polish pieces to effectively blend seams</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize overhead crane to transfer polish pieces to and from work stations</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect the overhead crane daily</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with supervisor to keep him/her informed of any material defects and difficult polish jobs</p> </li><li> <p>Keep work area clean and free of clutter</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct all job related duties in a safe and responsible manner</p> </li><li> <p>Attend work daily, be punctual, and work the duration of a shift</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency with basic mathematics</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to become certified in using an overhead crane</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work as a team player</p> </li><li> <p>Sense of urgency in completing work</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends on short notice</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: N/A</p> <p>Experience: Polishing experience preferred</p> <p>Systems: N/A</p> <p>Cambria Success Factors:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Reliable and punctual</p> </li><li> <p>Direct communication</p> </li><li> <p>Sense of urgency in completing work</p> </li><li> <p>Capable of multitasking</p> </li><li> <p>Work well both independently and with a team</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings</p> </li><li> <p>Lift up to 60 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Push/pull 100 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks</p> </li><li> <p>Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises</p> </li><li> <p>Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift</p> </li><li> <p>Bend over multiple times throughout shift</p> </li></ul> <p>Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Steel toed boots</p> </li><li> <p>Hearing Protection</p> </li><li> <p>Safety glasses</p> </li><li> <p>Cut-proof gloves</p> </li><li> <p>Latex gloves</p> </li><li> <p>Face shield</p> </li><li> <p>High visibility vest</p> </li></ul> <p>Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $16.50-$18.50. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
