<p>Position: Recruiter</p> <p>Location: Roxbury</p> <p>Full Time</p> <p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing recruiting plans for all positions; network though industry contacts, associations memberships, trade groups and employees; coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives set forth by the HR Department.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain working knowledge of company's Applicant Tracking System </li><li>Approving and opening job requisitions put forth by Hiring Managers </li><li>Meeting with Hiring Managers about open positions </li><li>Follow Internal/External Recruiting Processes & Policies </li><li>Develop and implement sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates in a variety of retail positions </li><li>Phone screen candidates for open positions. </li><li>Oversee social media efforts for open positions; including Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other resources to find talent. </li><li>Attend college recruiting, Mass Hire, and interviewing events </li><li>Maintain up to date interview notes, pre-employment files, and process documentation. </li><li>Manages and updates internal and external job postings weekly and develops candidate profiles </li><li>Counsels and influences managers throughout the hiring process, and close requisitions in a timely manner </li><li>Develops a recruitment plan and utilizes advertising agency/job boards and the like for ad development and placement where necessary with budget approval. </li><li>Coordinates, on occasion, the use of temporary agencies and ensures that appropriate department budgets are charged. </li><li>Ensures all required pre-employment checks are completed to include CORI, fingerprinting, and IntelliCorp request process for new employees and ensures compliance with Federal and State employment laws </li><li>Manages Vehicle Driver requirement for certain positions </li><li>Facilitates new employee orientation program monthly </li><li>Coordinates with managers to ensure federal and state posters are updated annually </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business or related field required </li><li>Two or more years of full life cycle recruiting experience required, preferably in a non-profit or retail environment. </li><li>Proficient in competency and/or behavioral based interviewing techniques. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills - ability to manage shifting priorities on a daily or weekly basis. </li><li>Understand EEOC employment guidelines. </li><li>Willingness to do high volume interviewing, primarily by phone. </li><li>Requires acceptable results of CORI check according to Goodwill policy and requirements. </li></ul> <p>Some of our benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Health / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance </li><li>Vacation & Sick Time Accrual </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Retirement Account Match </li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts </li><li>Store discount </li><li>Goodwill is qualified under the PSLF Program </li></ul>
