The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of electrical systems and components. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company. This role will be fully remote.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Generate construction documents via AutoCAD including electrical site plans, single line diagrams, and detailing </li><li>Prepare and procure all appropriate permits for building and construction in appropriate jurisdiction </li><li>Review contractor product shop drawings </li><li>Responding to contractor requests for information </li><li>Conduct field investigations of existing conditions for accurate design implementation as well as during construction to assure product quality </li><li>Preparation of project close out and as-built documentation </li><li>Research and Development of methods and product types to enhance project delivery model. </li><li>Development of company engineering standards of design </li><li>Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends </li><li>Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>4 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer (not required but preferred) </li><li>Minimum BS in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Office (Excel, Word, Email) </li><li>Skilled in BIM and use of Autodesk products, particularly AutoCAD </li><li>Able to utilize Adobe Acrobat software </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Exceptional time management, accountability, and prioritization skills </li><li>Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals </li><li>Ability to be organized, problem solve, and be solution oriented </li><li>Ability to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule; could include late evenings and/or weekends </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <ul> <li>10 Paid Holidays </li><li>Flexible Time Off </li><li>401(k) Company Match </li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>HSA and FSA </li><li>Disability & Occupational Accident Insurance </li><li>Company-Paid Life Insurance Policy </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>World-class paid training program for you to learn the skills for long term career success. </li></ul> <p>Requisition # 2904</p>
