<p>Overview of Company</p> <p>Perry Ellis International, Inc. represents a diverse portfolio of lifestyle apparel brands. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiaries owns and licenses nationally and with a brand portfolio of over 42 Brands domestically and internationally recognized brands including: Perry Ellis, Original Penguin by Munsingwear, Laundry by Shelli Segal, Rafaella, Cubavera, Ben Hogan, Savane, Grand Slam, John Henry, Manhattan, Axist, and Farah. The Company enhances its roster of brands by licensing trademarks from third parties, including: Nike for swimwear, and Callaway, PGA TOUR, and Jack Nicklaus for golf apparel.</p> <p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>Responsible for achieving or exceeding quantified sales budges set for each account, by representing Perry Ellis International product, image, policies, goals and objectives, while maintaining the budgeted profit goals.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to cultivation of new accounts and opportunities to expand business with existing accounts. </li><li>Identify and strategize means to penetrate new markets. </li><li>Research and perform competitive analysis; monitor relevant trends and communicate to internal partners where appropriate. </li><li>Collaboratively develop line plan, in context of larger assortment and cost structure, and customize to each customer; create and execute seasonal business proposals with suggested assortments based on marketplace </li></ul> <p>and customer base.</p> <ul> <li>Enter all customer orders and work with sales associate to ensure timely allocation and shipment of all orders. </li><li>Collaborate with Merchandising, Design and Sourcing. </li><li>Interact strategically with PEI upper management. </li><li>Meet with retail buyers and upper management to present product deliveries on continuous basis and sell to achieve set budgets for each accounts </li><li>Partner with the planning department to ensure gross margin goals are achieved </li><li>Build, manage, and deliver budgets and sales forecasts </li><li>Develop and present assortments with strong recommendations </li><li>Pre-meeting preparation with those involved to strategize sales opportunities </li><li>Sales presentation set up/follow through including: meeting agendas and meeting recaps that are proactive and results oriented </li><li>Understand competitors strengths and weaknesses, look for the "white space" opportunities </li><li>Inventory management - move ATS </li><li>Manage showroom samples </li><li>Ensure receipt of order distributions from customers and validate EDI orders. Notify Accounts of any </li></ul> <p>discrepancies</p> <ul> <li>Maintain open order reports-modify dates as needed with approval of sales manager and the customer </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Should possess excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills </li><li>Ability to manage accounts independently. </li><li>Working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets and Google Apps. </li><li>Knowledge of retail math. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and multitask. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business or related field. </li><li>Must have a minimum of at least 5+ years experience in apparel or accessories sales and experience in managing multiple retail accounts. </li><li>Domestic travel requirements 20-30%. </li></ul> <p>Salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
