<p>Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Coordinator - Subassembly.</p> <p>The hourly rate for this position is $17.94 per hour.</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:</p> <p>In the Coordinator role, you will plan, process, and request manufacturing information utilizing computer generated data reports. Schedule production units within assigned areas and assist in control of productive materials, hardware expense items, and expedite shortages.</p> <p>Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Plan and coordinate between areas. </li><li>You will review and update the status of orders and materials with manufacturing supervisors, material control personnel, and people in work areas, customer service, and KanBan expeditors. Includes regularly scheduled multi-functional production meetings which vary from once a week to daily depending on area(s) of responsibility. </li><li>You will utilize the computer, including Microsoft Excel, DMM, AS400, and the Material Synchronization Spreadsheet, to maintain control of floor stock and floor records. </li><li>You will process surplus, rejected, and/or defective material according to procedures. </li><li>You will problem solve manufacturing information by identifying missing and incorrect items. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. </li><li>At least 1 years of manufacturing/operations experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. </li><li>No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Greenwood facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>At least 2 year of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment </li><li>Minimum three (3) months of experience operating a powered industrial vehicle (e.g., forklift) </li><li>Minimum three (3) months of experience utilizing Eaton system controls including material management (DMM) and MRP/ERP (AS400) </li><li>At least 3 months of experience using hand and air tools </li><li>South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <p>POSITION CRITERIA:</p> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs. Utilize various hand tools to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination.
