If interested in more information/direct feedback, please reach out to me at cabood@actalentservices. com and attach your resume and contact information.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>The focus will be on developing and implementing new and improved inspection techniques on multiple production stages </li><li>Collaborating with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to investigate and address complaints, defective products, and quality problems </li><li>Daily 'hands-on' inspection layout responsibilities to assist with in-process, receiving, and final inspection </li><li>Coordinating and communicating activities within Quality Assurance, as well as with other functional departments to meet customer on-time-delivery requirements </li><li>Customer-facing responsibilities which include non-conformance review, driving root cause analysis, and documenting corrective actions </li><li>Analyze complaint data to identify hidden trends and initiate corresponding corrective actions </li><li>Evaluate and approve raw material, in-process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual, and measurement verifications and tests </li><li>Become an expert on all aspects of gaging, including gage selection, procurement, calibration, maintenance, and training of operators/inspectors in how to use gages/equipment </li><li>Participate in the development of Control/Inspection Plans, SOPs, and Work Instructions </li><li>Assist in the development of the quality management system and support the company's initiative to obtain ISO9001 certification </li><li>Perform audits, internal and at the supplier level </li><li>Assist in identifying & driving continuous improvement opportunities </li></ul> <p>Must Have</p> <ul> <li>BS Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 2+ years experience </li><li>Knowledge of Six Sigma tools </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and drawings </li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; pivot tables, statistical trending, data analysis, etc. </li><li>CAPA experience </li><li>Root Cause analysis (8Ds, 5Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.) </li><li>Control Plans experience </li><li>FMEA experience </li></ul> <p>Nice to Haves</p> <ul> <li>Electronic/Electrical experience </li><li>PPAPP experience </li><li>Auditing experience </li><li>ISO 9001 experience </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.</p> <p>100% company-paid benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage</p> <p>401k with company match Paid time off/Holiday pay A positive and collaborative work environment</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a fully onsite position in Streetsboro,OH.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Apr 2, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
