About the role Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing, adjusting, and/or maintaining industrial production and processing machinery in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This position performs basic troubleshooting and repairs with direction and oversight. Desirable shift schedules! 12-hour workdays on 3rd shift (6:55 pm - 7 am). We work 2-3-2 rotation. Responsibilities Supports a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures. Supports a quality work environment by following appropriate policies and procedures. Completes weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance duties on Operations machinery, equipment, and tooling per preventive maintenance (PM) procedures and as assigned Documents required repairs and maintenance tasks. Observes gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly. Inspects equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Repairs, cleans, lubricates, or adjusts machinery to optimally maintain the equipment. Disassembles, repairs, or replaces malfunctioning/broken machinery or equipment components. Reassembles equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repair. Examines parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage. Cleans work areas using basic cleaning materials. Qualifications Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance Must possess a high level of knowledge of machine and tooling maintenance requirements Must have the ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery, tooling and equipment Must have the ability to run basic machine shop equipment Must have the ability to accurately use calipers, dial indicators and micrometers Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Products and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Mgmt. System) Efficiently manages time and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and goals. Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders Builds strong relationships with others, fostering a supportive and engaged workplace. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
