Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych.</p> <p>To support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, through put, and assignments. Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.</p> <p>Short Description</p> <ul> <li>Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients' activities of daily living and plan of care. </li><li>Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s). </li><li>Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics. </li></ul> <p>Experience Required</p> <p>1 year or more patient care experience in a similar role preferred.</p> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Completed at least one fundamental nursing course in an accredited RN Program </li><li>Successful completion of an unlicensed health care provider/ technician program </li><li>High school diploma/GED </li></ul> <p>License/Certification Requirements</p> <p>AHA Basic Life Support certification.</p> <p>Special Requirements</p> <p>Must successfully complete EKG and Phlebotomy training during orientation.</p>
