<p>South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Bank at Work team of outstanding professionals in the Greenville Area.</p> <p>Duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>As a part of the Bank at Work team, actively contribute to the sales growth through employers, associations, and community organizations by ensuring the offering of an array of financial services. </li><li>Actively acquires, develops, and maintains strong, ongoing relationships with employers, associations, and community organizations to leverage and continually grow business development opportunities. </li><li>Maintain contact with and conduct regular site visits to existing and prospective employers, associations, and community organizations to promote credit union products and services and generate future sales. </li><li>Coordinate on-site membership acquisitions between Financial Centers and the employers, associations, and community organizations. </li><li>Prepare for, communicate, and conduct meetings and presentations to existing and prospective employers, associations, and community organizations; coordinate with subject matter experts as needed. </li><li>Coordinate with all internal credit union partners, including Financial Center Managers, to deliver financial education targeted towards the needs of employers, associations, and community organizations. </li><li>Contribute to the Financial Education Program by actively seeking opportunities to provide programs that support the needs of employers, associations, and community organizations on a variety of subjects such as retirement, credit worthiness, etc. </li><li>Support SC Financial Solutions growth by consistently offering employers, associations, and community organizations various ancillary products that would be beneficial. </li></ul> <p>Minimum requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>Possess an associate's degree or two years of college in a similar or related field or equivalent work experience. </li><li>Possess two years of related experience with a focus in sales/relationship building, and community involvement within a financial institution. </li><li>Previous sales experience with the ability to achieve or exceed goals. </li><li>Possess prior public speaking experience. </li><li>Possess the ability to develop and deliver presentations. </li><li>Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with members and employees in person and by telephone/email. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage in relationship building discussions. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to identify and anticipate members' needs and sell products and services. </li><li>Possess time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. </li><li>Possess interpersonal and negotiation skills. </li><li>Possess problem solving and decision-making skills. </li><li>Possess proficiency of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. </li><li>Possess intermediate mathematical skills performing calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. </li></ul> <p>NOTE: Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.</p> <p>South Carolina Federal Credit Union is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</p>
