Interviews and recommends selection of new personnel. Directs, guides, evaluates, counsels, disciplines, and if necessary, recommends dismissal of staff. Ensures that all patient interactions meet federal and state compliance requirements.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Formal Education Required:</p> <p>a. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)</p> <ul> <li>Applicants with an Associate's degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment </li></ul> <p>b. Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)</p> <p>c. Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio</p> <p>Experience and Training Required:</p> <ul> <li>One (1) to three (3) years experience in a clinical communications center. </li><li>One (1) year of project management or team leader experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of health care and medical procedures, including terminology </li><li>Demonstrates communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and encouraging fellow team members. </li><li>Ability to be highly motivated, work independently, make decisions, and work in a fast-paced stressful environment. </li><li>Attentiveness to detail </li><li>Ability to prioritize duties and delegate responsibilities </li><li>Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity. </li></ul> <p>Level of Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>$33.66/hr - $50.49/hr</p> <p>The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
