Sauer, MD. This is a temporary job code and intended for the student to gain valuable experiences and insights into the various research roles over the summer. Specific responsibilities will be discussed in detail with applicants and will be project based.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The following listing represents some of the duties of this position in a research area. Other similar duties may be included, as appropriate to the area. The candidate may not necessarily perform all of these duties.</p> <ol> <li>Data Collection Activities: </li></ol> <p>a. Collects and codes data into a usable database format.</p> <p>b. Transfers collected data to code sheets.</p> <p>c. Documents system changes, informing supervisor of conflicts between coding methods and protocol.</p> <p>d. Prepares written reports on data, as appropriate.</p> <ol start="2"> <li>Research Activities: </li></ol> <p>a. Performs basic research experiments in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.</p> <p>b. Assist with analysis of experimental data using basic statistical methods.</p> <p>c. Performs literature searches.</p> <ol start="3"> <li>Laboratory Activities: </li></ol> <p>a. Assists with maintenance of a clean and orderly lab.</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Project Activities: </li></ol> <p>Support development of internal research and or innovation projects (diagnostics, devices and digital health) through project management, clinical input and market analysis Review and conduct external market research and competitive analysis and be able to present results.
