<p>Description</p> <p>Become part of an inclusive organization with over 40,000 teammates, whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the unique communities we serve.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Human Resources Systems and Compensation Specialist is a strategic systems thinker and collaborator responsible for developing and maintaining lean, effective, and integrated HR tools and procedures through both routine and project-based work. The HR Systems Specialist must navigate a series of interlocking priorities to drive continuous improvement in HR operations, safeguard people data integrity, and develop equitable, easy-to-understand people processes for more than 2000 employees.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develops and maintains a competitive, consistent, and fiscally responsible compensation and job classification system. </li><li>Monitors, maintains, and updates people-centric data in Human Resources information system(s) (HRIS). Ensures clean and clear data in HRIS through the maintenance of an integrated process and system design. </li><li>Authors and analyzes job/position descriptions, qualifications, and scope/parameters. Evaluates current and planned roles to merge / segment as necessary for effective recruiting, performance management and workforce planning. </li><li>Leads annual market wage comparison and cost-of-living analysis. Identifies, organizes, and executes appropriate market wage adjustments within defined budgetary constraints. • Evaluates jobs for compensation grading, ensuring a balance between managerial autonomy, fiscal responsibility, and successful talent acquisition/retention. </li><li>Audits people-centric data spanning the HR function for ongoing data integrity. </li><li>Evaluates results of processes such as talent acquisition, performance evaluation and compensation for equitable impact and compliance. Recommends process and policy changes based on analysis. Maintains and delivers HR data per regulatory requirements. </li><li>Builds, maintains and delivers procedural metrics / key performance indicators for common HR functions. </li><li>Develops and delivers training to team members and managers regarding the functions and expected behaviors for stakeholders involved in HR processes and systems. Researches cross-industry HR benchmarks and best practices. Advocates for and implements change to suit </li></ul> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Five (5) years of experience working as a user or administrator in an HR information system, human capital management tool (HCM) or applicant tracking system (ATS) such as Workday or INFOR </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication, including experience building presentations, briefs and/or whitepapers for leadership use. </li><li>Experience writing and editing job descriptions for current and future staff. </li><li>Experience setting wages and defining wage ranges. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications, specific skills to include graphs, complex formulas and PivotTables. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) as issued by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). </li><li>Experience working in a Talent Acquisition role or capacity </li></ul> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Legal Employer: Pardee - HCHC</p> <p>Entity: Pardee UNC Health Care</p> <p>Organization Unit: Human Resources</p> <p>Work Type: Full Time</p> <p>Standard Hours Per Week: 40.00</p> <p>Work Assignment Type: Onsite</p> <p>Work Schedule: Day Job</p> <p>Location of Job: DOCTORS PARK</p> <p>Exempt From Overtime: Exempt: Yes</p>
