<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>The Steam Turbine Systems Integration Leader owns the architecture of a Steam Turbine Product.</p> <p>This includes close collaboration with Product Management, Project engineering and Design engineering to ensure GE Vernova can provide best performing and reliable power generation products.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Own the steam turbine architecture </li><li>Contribute to the definition of the product strategy, multi generation product plan and multi generation technology plan </li><li>Collaborate closely with product management, platform management, plant systems operability NPI and component design engineering teams </li><li>Collaborate closely with associated engineering disciplines and controlled title holder(s) on thermodynamics, operability, rotating and structural design </li><li>Drive NPI with focus on product safety, quality and customer value from product performance & cost </li><li>Deliver on specific NPI programs further developing, improving standardizing and automating steam turbine engineering processes </li><li>Own the design and application space for steam turbines </li><li>Own the steam turbine application catalogue </li><li>Own the associated engineering hour estimation for requisition engineering </li><li>Contribute to defining the product for bidding on customer inquiries </li><li>Own the "as bid" P50 engineering thermal performance and other engineering parameter guarantees that enter into the product offering contracts </li><li>Own the Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) performance of GEV CCSTs </li><li>Collaborate with requisition and service engineering to assess business opportunity and evaluate necessary resources and schedule for customer deliveries </li><li>Initial focus will be on the GEV ST A650 product with the opportunity to grow. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Min B.Sc. Engineering or Physics in the field of Turbomachinery, Thermal Power Generation and Energy System Engineering, or equivalent qualification(s) for candidates located in Mexico and the US. </li><li>Min 10 years of applicable professional experience </li><li>For candidates located in Switzerland: </li><li>B.Sc. Engineering or Physics in the field of Turbomachinery, Thermal Power Generation and Energy System Engineering, or equivalent qualification(s) </li><li>Mayor applicable professional experience </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Multiple years of demonstrated experience working on steam turbine engineering, including system integration with CC plant and working closely with component engineering teams </li><li>Fluency in English Language </li><li>Higher academic degree may be an advantage </li><li>Demonstrated experience as senior engineer </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of steam turbine design including integration into the combined cycle overall plant </li><li>Experience with performance tools, heat balances, performance prediction and measurements </li><li>Experience with steam turbine operability and life cycle </li><li>Experience with steam turbine initiate to order and order to remittance processes </li><li>Demonstrated experience in applying LEAN, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively to teams, peers, leadership and occasionally to external customers </li><li>Ability to work vertically and horizontally with engineers, peers and leaders across the organization </li><li>Other spoken languages may be an advantage (e.g. German, Spanish, Polish) </li><li>Ability to travel and work with a global intercultural team </li></ul> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 111,200.00 - 150,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
