<p>Common Pleas Court • Probate & Juvenile Divisions</p> <p>Administrative Assistant (Permanent Full-Time)</p> <p>Immediate Opening for Administrative Assistant</p> <p>Location: Probate & Juvenile Courts • Pay: $49,920</p> <p>Status: Permanent Full-time • Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:00-4:30</p> <p>Open: March 18, 2025 • Close: When filled</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>Prepare correspondence, reports, court documents, and forms. Maintain a variety of lists, including GAL, Appointed Counsel and Appraiser lists. Financial functions include accurate processing of invoices by scheduled deadlines along with processing a variety of additional transactions through the Auditor's (Munis) accounting system. Verify attorney fee applications for accuracy and process for payment within required time limits; Maintain accurate records of appointed counsel fees paid. End of day financial and insufficient funds processing as needed; Preparation of bank deposits, end of month/pay-ins/reconciliations as needed; Annual Audit; Unclaimed Funds; Public Defender Report; Financial Corrections; Insufficient Fund Returns. Back up to Clerks etc. as needed. Monitor facilities, initiate maintenance requests and follow-up with same.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required. Must be proficient in typing, general computer operations, and office practices and procedures. Must possess computer knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Word and Excel. Must possess a valid driver's license and be physically able to perform all job-related responsibilities.</p> <p>Conditions of Employment</p> <p>Applicants must be US citizens or eligible to work without restriction in the United States and at least 18 years of age. This position is subject to a background check and drug screen.
