Your responsibilities will include ensuring the security, stability, and scalability of our systems. In this position, you will be instrumental in deploying vital technology solutions across various technical areas. Your engineering expertise will provide support and solutions to different business functions, significantly contributing to the organization's achievement of its business objectives.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems </li><li>Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development </li><li>Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems </li><li>Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture </li><li>Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies </li><li>Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software development concepts and 3+ years applied experience </li><li>Strong Python development skills and track record of successful delivery of large-scale projects </li><li>Familiarity with C/C++ and shell scripting within UNIX environment </li><li>Experience using relational database systems such as Sybase, MS SQL Server or Oracle </li><li>Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle </li><li>Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large-scale enterprise level applications </li><li>Strong understanding of Data Structures, algorithms and its uses </li><li>Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Demonstrated relevant experience within tech or financial industries </li><li>Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders in cross-projects and team settings to identify and clarify business or product questions to answer </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and statistical analysis </li><li>Exposure to cloud technologies including AWS solutions and storage technologies </li><li>Good understanding of Python numerical libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, Torch, Tensorflow etc. </li></ul>
