<p>Overview</p> <p>Position: Certified Athletic Trainer</p> <p>Location: Bala Cynwyd, PASchedule: Full-time, typical Division 1 AT hours</p> <p>Compensation: Commensurate with experience, starting at $50,000-$70,000/yr</p> <p>NovaCare Rehabilitation is looking for an experienced & passionate athletic trainer to work with the Athletic Department of La Salle University to support their growing needs. This is a great opportunity to work in the D-I setting with an outstanding Sports Medicine Team made up of 9 Athletic Trainers, 2 Sports Physical Therapists and a Sports Medicine Physician on-site to provide you the resources you will need to be successful.</p> <p>Prior Collegiate Baseball experience is preferred. Sport assignments are Baseball and Cross Country.</p> <p>Why Join Us:</p> <ul> <li>Industry-wide unmatched continuing education (CEU) program with unlimited access to CEU courses, national certifications and more </li><li>Comprehensive health-care and 401(k) plans </li><li>Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation </li><li>Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care) </li><li>Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care </li><li>Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete. </li><li>Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree </li><li>National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) certification </li><li>CPR certification </li><li>Applicable state license where required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree </li></ul> <p>Additional Data</p> <p>Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
