This candidate can work in our Spring House, PA or Titusville, NJ locations and will be required to travel to Spring House, PA, regularly.</p> <p>This SFA will be responsible for providing financial leadership to the Therapeutics Discovery Function and will be an integral member of the Innovative Medicine DPDS Discovery Finance team by delivering on OPEX and CAPEX budget commitments, driving strategic business decisions, and providing recommendations on investment decisions.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Key activities for this position include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leading planning (JU & LRFP, NU, BP), Latest Thinking, and actual cycle budget updates for functional OPEX expenses (~$200MM across 2 VPs), headcount (~350 FTEs), and CAPEX expenses (~$45MM).</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinating the budgeting process with business partners: budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenses and headcount.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting strategic investments by helping to develop business cases in partnership with functional business partners and by challenging business assumptions and guiding capital appropriation requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Leading closeout efforts for capitalizable assets, managing and forecasting depreciation, and partnering with lab operations partners globally.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting ad hoc projects and applying financial analyses to provide recommendations for opportunities to drive new value within the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifying and implementing operational improvements / standardization of activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting FLDP and Co-Op on the team by providing coaching, mentoring, and crafting an environment of professional growth for the team.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Required</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven financial and analytical skills, being result and performance driven.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates business acumen and the ability to analyze complex financial problems, identify innovative solutions, and explain insights to a non-finance audience in an easy-to-understand way.</p> </li><li> <p>Trusted business partner with strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent analytical (MS Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint) skills with an ability to quickly extract data from multiple J&J ERP systems.</p> </li><li> <p>The role will be located in Spring House, PA or Titusville, NJ and will be required to travel to Spring House, PA regularly, and may require up to 10% of travel.</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred</p> </li><li> <p>A Master's degree, MBA and/or CPA, CMA.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with advanced data analytic and visualization tools, preferably Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.</p> </li></ul> <p>Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
