<p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician Position is part of the Facilities Team. The Maintenance Technician maintains the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Preparing Residents Rooms for new occupants </li><li>Handling general maintenance repair needs at the community. </li><li>Performing routine cleaning. </li><li>Using and maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment. </li><li>Maintaining the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards. </li><li>Working to problem solve, plan, organize, communicate and cooperate with others to ensure that projects are completed. </li><li>Keeping accurate maintenance records of work done. </li><li>Responsibilities include customer service, resident safety, maintenance, and communication. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens. </li><li>Familiarity with the TELs system a plus. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>1+ years of similar experience. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>The ability to stay organized and multi-task. </li></ul> <p>Location Information</p> <p>Northwood Manor is a beautiful community in Marion, IN, with more than 50 units offering independent living.</p>
