<p>Job Title Business Unit Department Reports To Inside Sales Sales BU Location BU Acceptance Approved By: Date Approved Overall Purpose: Why the Job Exists & What You Will Do: Inside sales overseas sales & networking over our mid-tier dealers, end-users and serves as the primary liaison between end-users, dealers and Pigtek. This position focuses on growing the Pigtek & Choretime product brands, developing customer alliances, establishing and maintaining product leadership, and achieving both short and long-term sales objectives by identifying customer needs and providing solutions to create mutual, quantifiable value between our end users, our dealers and Pigtek. Essential Job Functions & Expected Outcomes: Your Accountabilities in the Role</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Sales Support: Actively sell and promote our wide range of Pig equipment, ensuring that clients are provided with the best solutions for their operational needs. </li><li>Dealer training: Teach our dealers the values of our product using a pig-centered real-world application approach. </li><li>Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential customers within the hog farming industry by seeking our integrators, management groups and Family-owned operations. </li><li>Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers/ Dealers to ensure end user satisfaction and repeat business. </li><li>Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on product offerings, specifications, and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to customers. </li><li>Technical training: Provide in-house and on-site product training to our dealers and to end users. </li><li>Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and resolve any issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. </li><li>Sales Reporting: Track sales progress and provide regular updates on sales activities, opportunities, and challenges. </li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team, operations, engineering and customer service to ensure smooth business operations and customer success. </li><li>Market Intelligence: Gather and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to help shape sales strategies. </li></ul> <p>The job criteria may include other duties, responsibilities and activities, which may change or be assigned at any item with or without notice.</p> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in agricultural or industrial equipment (hog equipment experience is a plus). </li><li>Knowledge: Understanding of hog farming operations and equipment is highly desirable. </li><li>Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence clients. </li><li>Customer-Focused: Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage multiple accounts effectively. </li><li>Sales Skills: Ability to close deals, negotiate pricing, and achieve sales targets. </li><li>Technical Aptitude: Comfort with technology, including CRM systems and other sales tools. </li><li>Problem Solving: Proactive approach to addressing customer challenges and providing solutions </li></ul> <p>Core Values that Apply to All Positions:</p> <ul> <li>Integrity in all things </li><li>Customers are why we exist </li><li>Profitability is a must </li><li>Excellence in all we do </li><li>People make the difference </li></ul> <p>Equipment Used:</p> <ul> <li>This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements to Perform Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit at desk for 6+ hours per day </li><li>Ability to operate keyboard and view computer screen for majority of day 6-7 hours </li><li>Ability to write ideas/information in a logical flow for 6+ hours per day </li><li>Ability to read and respond on an on-going basis due to nature of the work </li><li>Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with others via phone, in-person, and computer on-going </li><li>Ability to listen to customers, problem-solve, and respond accordingly </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, climb, carry and lift up to 25 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Environmental Conditions & Travel:</p> <ul> <li>Up to 50% travel is required </li></ul> <p>I</p>
