<p>We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in a rehabilitation setting. The PT will assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall function in patients. Responsibilities include providing therapeutic exercises, balance training, pain management, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), a valid state license, and experience in a rehab settings is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.</p> <p>Make a meaningful impact-apply today!</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. </li><li>Reviews patients' functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes. </li><li>Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development. </li><li>Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care. </li><li>Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals. </li><li>Educate residents and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs. </li><li>Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient support groups. </li><li>Maintain compliance with safety and professional standards. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management. </li><li>Essential functions are subject to modification at the discretion of management. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Customer service-oriented approach. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program. </li><li>At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide. </li><li>Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. </li><li>At least one year of experience preferred. </li><li>CPR/BLS certification </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Duties require extensive standing and walking. </li><li>Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients. </li><li>Duties require frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. </li></ul>
