<p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>100% FTE, day shift. Tuesday - Friday 7:15AM - 3:45PM, Saturday 7:30AM - 3:30PM. Weekends required as scheduled. Holiday and standby call rotations required. You may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.</p> <p>Be part of something remarkable</p> <p>Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!</p> <p>We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - X-ray to:</p> <ul> <li>Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. </li><li>Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. </li><li>Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. </li><li>Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred </li></ul> <p>Work Experience</p> <ul> <li>Previous healthcare experience Required </li><li>2 years of clinical experience Preferred </li></ul> <p>Licenses & Certifications</p> <ul> <li>ARRT Radiography (R) certification Upon Hire Required </li><li>Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Required </li><li>CPR certification within 3 months Required </li><li>If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role, Bone Mineral Densitometry certification within 30 months Required </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion</p> <p>UW Health is committed to being a diverse, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
