<p>Community School Corporation of Eastern Hancock County</p> <p>Bus Driver</p> <p>Responsibilities/Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Provide safe and timely transportation for our students at Eastern Hancock Schools. </li><li>Maintain clean and mechanically-sound bus at all times. </li><li>Obey all traffic laws. </li><li>Perform pre and post trip inspections of the bus each day. </li><li>Follow assigned route and time schedule. Notify transportation office of any changes. </li><li>Drivers are required to attend an annual safety meeting and any safety meeting necessary throughout the year. </li><li>Follow district policies found on corporation website. </li><li>Follow safety plan and procedures in case of emergency. </li><li>Proper moral conduct, language, and dress is to be maintained while involved in bus driving duties. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all staff, students and families. </li><li>Promote positive school culture. </li><li>The use of tobacco is always prohibited on any school grounds, on school buses, and at any school-related events. </li><li>The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the corporation. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the transportation director. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Indiana State School Bus (Yellow Card) for all student light routes. </li><li>CDL license for buses over 15 passenger </li></ul> <p>Community School Corporation of Eastern Hancock County is an equal opportunity employer.</p> <p>PTO days - 8 (after 90 days)</p> <ul> <li>Balance rolls into sick days July 1 </li></ul> <p>Insurance Coverage for employees working at least 17.5 hrs/week</p> <ul> <li>Life - Corp paid $10,000 policy (includes Employee Assistance Program) </li><li>Additional life, dependent life and LTD coverage avail. </li><li>American Fidelity coverage avail. - FLEX, HSA, Accident, cancer, etc. </li></ul> <p>Retirement</p> <ul> <li>403b plans available through Corebridge or Equitable </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <p>All Sport Pass for employee and spouse or 1 child</p>
