<p>K-8 LAHB TEACHER, ESY PROGRAM</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW</p> <p>To plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills and information per IEP </li><li>Supervision of paraprofessionals </li><li>Coordination of related service support </li><li>Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers </li><li>Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:</p> <ul> <li>Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities, Prek-8, certification required </li><li>Wilson, and/or Orton Gillingham, and/or LiPS certification required </li><li>Teaching Experience for Students with Learning Disabilities/Language-Based Learning Disabilities </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>July 7, 2025 - July 31, 2025 </li><li>9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday </li><li>Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program </li><li>Additional 30 minutes per day for planning </li></ul> <p>Contact information-ESY Coordinators</p> <ul> <li>All employees must be vaccinated and maintain full vaccination as a condition </li></ul> <p>of employment or work as an on-site vendor/contractor, unless they receive approval for a documented medical or religious exemption in accordance with relevant state and/or federal law.
