If you would like to hear what our employees think about working for Komatsu, click this link Employee Testimonials.</p> <p>Position Qualifications:</p> <p>Successful candidates for this position for a Lube Truck/Class 2 Mechanic in our Hatfield, PA branch must have a CDL license, clean driving record and should have 5 plus years of related experience in the heavy equipment repair industry, including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Strong diagnostic and repair experience with heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.) </li><li>Ability to repair, rebuild, or replace engines and other major components </li><li>Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, etc. systems </li><li>Ability to perform preventative maintenance services </li><li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft products as well as industry software </li><li>Ability to read and write the English language </li><li>Ability to convey repair details in clear and accurate service notes for assigned work orders </li><li>Participation in writing customer quotes and delivery of best-in-class customer service </li><li>Mentor less tenured mechanics in the branch operations </li><li>Operation of heavy equipment </li><li>CDL required for Lube Truck </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>As a mechanic or technician with Komatsu Company Stores East, the physically demanding work is performed in industrial environments and includes exposure to significant environmental conditions, including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing </li><li>Working at heights </li><li>Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, bending, and crouching </li><li>Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds </li><li>Hand/eye and motor coordination </li><li>Work overtime as needed </li><li>The workplace environmental conditions include subject to noise, heat, cold, odors, hazards, and atmospheric exposure </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Komatsu is an Equal Opportunity Workplace and an Affirmative Action Employer.
