During every interaction, we display three behaviors:</p> <ul> <li>Smile, display energy and open body language. </li><li>Proactively greet team members and guests, initiating interaction to provide service. </li><li>Always use a positive parting remark to end the conversation </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Greets guests, determines seating location, escorts guest to tables, and provides menus. </li><li>Answers phone, utilizes reservation system, responds to guest inquiries and takes reservations. </li><li>Refers difficult guest complaints to management. </li><li>Keeps abreast of casino promotions and events in order to respond to guest inquiries. </li><li>Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption </li><li>Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Three or more months of related experience and/or training preferred. </li><li>Must be able to work flexible shifts weekends and holidays. </li><li>Knowledge of Database software </li><li>Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process. </li><li>Ability to speak an Asian language is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical and Mental Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, frequently required to stoop and kneel. </li><li>Must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. </li><li>Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions. </li><li>Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment </li></ul>
