<p>Develop, supervise and evaluate implementation of activities, experiences and mandatory services meant to achieve the objectives of the Upward Bound Classic project grant. Responsible for the day-to-day operations including monitoring the budget, direct supervision of academic advisors and project secretary and establishing relationships with target school principals and counselors.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>25% Supervise and assist with recruitment of participants in compliance with federal regulations; develop experiences, activities and services to meet grant objectives.</p> <p>25% Serve as liaison to school principals and counselors; supervise school visits made by Academic Adviser. Evaluate progress made toward accomplishing grant objectives.</p> <p>25% Monitor budget and oversee all expenditures for accuracy, and as allowable and allocable according to federal regulations.</p> <p>25% Overall management and reporting of progress related to the program, personnel, and participants.</p> <p>Additional Position Information:</p> <p>Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in a related field, such as secondary education, higher education or counseling required. Experience in program administration, working knowledge of curriculum planning and development.</p> <p>Requires a minimum of 2 years academic counseling experience with excellent written and oral communication skills.
