<p>Housekeeper</p> <p>Department: Housekeeping/Laundry</p> <p>FLSA/Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly (Full-Time)</p> <p>Shift: 1st - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Weekend & Holiday rotation required</p> <p>Pay Rate: 15.00 - 16.00/hr DOE</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>To clean assigned apartments, suites, or homes and to assist housekeeping staff in keeping all general areas of the facility neat and clean.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that all work schedules are followed as closely as practical. </li><li>Ensure each residents room is kept clean without disturbing personal property unless requested by the Supervisor or Resident. </li><li>Perform assigned tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing surfaces, emptying trash, and other duties necessary to assist in the cleanliness of the facility. </li><li>Ensure that work/cleaning/laundry schedules are followed as closely as practical. </li><li>Uses commercial washers and dryers to complete 6-8 loads of laundry daily. </li><li>Label and hang clean laundry on movable laundry carts. </li><li>Bring clean laundry carts to appropriate residents in designated facility areas. </li><li>Coordinate daily housekeeping/laundry services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas. </li><li>Ensure that all areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner. </li><li>Ensure appropriate techniques are followed when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning/laundry. </li><li>Refer to material safety data sheets (MSDS) when necessary. </li><li>Ensure that established infection control and universal precautions practices are maintained when performing housekeeping/laundry functions. </li><li>Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with nursing services. </li><li>Perform isolation cleaning/laundry procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. </li><li>Complete all other assignments as directed by direct manager/supervisor </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education/Skills/Experience/Credentials:</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent required. </li><li>Previous experience is desirable but not required. </li><li>Good interpersonal relations with proven communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Ability to read any special instructions and to understand labels on cleaning products. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to stand and walk during 6 to 8-hour shifts </li><li>Must be able to reach, lift, bend, stoop, and wipe. </li><li>Must be able to frequently carry supplies and push carts up to 60 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Other federally regulated requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records. </li><li>Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine and TB testing. </li><li>Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis. </li><li>Must be willing to undergo biometric screening. </li></ul> <p>Benefits we offer:</p> <p>o PTO</p> <p>o 403b - with employer match, after 6 months</p> <p>o Medical coverage with employer contribution</p> <p>o Employer Paid Life Insurance</p> <p>o Dental and Vision</p> <p>o Variety of voluntary benefit elections</p> <p>o Reasonably priced meals</p> <p>o Employee referral bonus program</p> <p>o Tuition Reimbursement</p> <p>Wesley Willows/Peterson Meadows is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Wesley Willows/Peterson Meadows operates a Drug & Alcohol-free campus</p>
