If you have relevant experience working in engineering and you meet the requirements listed below, please send your resume for consideration.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This position break downs and organizes simple to complex assemblies to create efficient work areas and plant flow across a dynamic range of process types.</p> <p>Essential Functions of the Job:</p> <ul> <li>Develop work areas within 2D CAD, organize work areas, implement 5s (e.g. shadowing boards). </li><li>Develop work instructions for a base line consistency and for process improvements. </li><li>Create 3D CAD designs to improve overall efficiencies (e.g. assembly tooling and material handling). </li><li>Utilize multi-level BOM's to interpret engineering requirements as it relates to work being done. </li><li>Make ergonomic improvements to improve overall safety. </li><li>Perform other responsibilities of similar nature and scope as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):</p> <ul> <li>Excellent mechanical aptitude is required </li><li>Excellent blueprint reading skills </li><li>Computer skills required (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, J.D. Edwards) </li><li>AutoCAD required and Pro E knowledge preferred </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Excellent organizational skills </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work with little or no supervision </li><li>A sense of urgency with the ability to meet timelines </li><li>Able to work extended hours to complete projects </li><li>Ability to physically lift tools, components, bins of parts, and miscellaneous parts not to exceed 50 lbs </li><li>Knowledge of GMS and safety systems to ensure compliance. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>S. Diploma </li><li>Associate Degree a plus </li><li>3 plus years employed in heavy industrial environment preferred </li></ul>
