<p>EMR is looking for an experienced and reliable Landscaper to join our team! If you have hands-on experience with landscaping equipment and are comfortable working independently or in a team, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time position that requires someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to take on a variety of landscaping tasks. This position requires a valid drivers license.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, weed whackers, pole/prune saws, chain saws, hedge trimmers, and backpack blowers efficiently and safely.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Skid Steers or front-end loaders is a significant plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete various landscaping tasks, including planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, and lawn care.</p> </li><li> <p>Assess soil conditions and select appropriate treatments or plant types for optimal growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and treat plant diseases and pests to maintain plant health.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the Landscape Lead and other team members to meet project deadlines and ensure quality work.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive company truck to various work sites and ensure equipment is transported safely.</p> </li><li> <p>Fill in for the Landscaper Lead when necessary and continue tasks as usual.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proven experience operating landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, weed whackers, and hedge trimmers.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working with large equipment such as Skid Steers or front-end loaders.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work well in a team and independently for large portions of the day.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to adapt to changes in assignments and handle a variety of tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the team and supervisors.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work efficiently and maintain attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous landscaping experience is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable driving a company truck to and from job sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in different environments and weather conditions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED-equivalent preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience with landscaping and/or related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Certification or training in horticulture or landscaping is a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>$18 - 22/hr</p>
