Our team is looking for a high-performing engineer who will be responsible for the development, implementation and on-going support of a data-driven software platform. You will be doing .NET development, web development, and developing against multiple data technologies. The right candidate will be somebody who is motivated to get it done, loves to continually learn, and builds software utilizing modern technologies and strong engineering practices.</p> <p>The candidate must be a self-starter with an ownership mindset, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to quality and professionalism. In addition to designing and developing applications, this role will coordinate with and guide the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. This role will also collaborate with senior engineers across a range of other teams, working on platform-wide efforts, defining best practices, and ensuring alignment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications </li><li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code </li><li>Integrate with APIs for data ingestion. </li><li>Develop scalable APIs that can be consumed by multiple teams. </li><li>Integrate with data-storage solutions such as SQL Server, AWS S3, and Redshift. </li><li>Develop and support ETL pipelines when needed with different technologies. </li><li>Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. </li><li>Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. </li><li>Integrate the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application. </li><li>Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in .NET Core and C#. </li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful API's and knowledge of API design and management. </li><li>Knowledge of various AWS services like API Gateway, Fargate, Lambda, ElasticCache, ECS, EKS </li><li>Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and TSQL. </li><li>Strong understanding of MPP data warehouse technologies like Amazon Redshift. </li><li>Knowledge of Entity Framework, Dapper, OWIN, IoC, WebAPI required. </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as React is preferred. </li><li>Comfort with cloud infrastructure and data-processing technologies. </li><li>Good knowledge of design patterns (Clean architecture). </li><li>Experience working with Agile Scrum teams. </li><li>Familiarity integrating existing data pipelines into DataBricks. </li><li>Experience designing and developing microservices </li><li>Proficient understanding of Azure DevOps version control and pipelines. </li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration tools like TeamCity. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred. </li><li>6+ years of development experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional information</p> <p>About Publicis Media:</p> <p>Publicis Media is one of Publicis Groupe's four solution hubs, aligning all of Publicis Groupe's media agencies and operations. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
