<ul> <li>Responsible for a broad range of communication initiatives for NASA's Fission Surface Power (FSP) project at the Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio </li><li>Build relationships with NASA stakeholders and provide communication support for the FSP project </li><li>Handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under tight timelines and changing priorities/relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks </li><li>Responsible for the research, strategy, planning, integration, and execution of communication strategies, plans, and message management processes. </li><li>Responsible for coordinating and integrating communication approaches and products across multiple communication disciplines and platforms. </li><li>Duties include contributing to high-level executive communications including quick turnaround responses. </li><li>Write and edit communication products. </li><li>Responsible for generating routine and/or ad-hoc reports for the client to include metrics management to assess impact of communication products and services. </li><li>Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: Up to $95,000 depending on experience</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS Journalism, Multimedia, Communications, or related field </li><li>At least 10 years of experience in communications </li><li>Must be able to write to a range of audiences and creatively explain complex technical ideas in an approachable, compelling way </li><li>Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic environment </li><li>Experience with editing and familiarity with AP style are a plus </li><li>Flexibility to travel depending on mission and client requirements. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed.
