<p>The Altenheim is now hiring LPN's for Evening shift. We offer daily and weekly pay options and great benefits! Plus a $15,000 sign on bonus for Evening shift only!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/RN) for the evening shift at Altenheim plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a residential setting. This position involves monitoring patients' health, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities to ensure the comfort and well-being of residents. The LPN/RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with both patients and their families to provide updates on health status and care procedures. Ultimately, the LPN/RN will contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all residents during the evening hours.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. </li><li>Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status. </li><li>Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating. </li><li>Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. </li><li>Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current and valid LPN or RN license in the state of practice. </li><li>Completion of an accredited nursing program. </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. </li><li>Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). </li><li>Bilingual skills to communicate with a diverse patient population. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which are essential for monitoring patients' health and recognizing changes that may require immediate attention. Effective communication skills are vital for interacting with residents, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring that everyone is informed and involved in the care process. Time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks and provide timely care to multiple residents during the evening shift.
