<p>Req Id: 34838</p> <p>Job Title: Electrician</p> <p>City: West Lafayette</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>As an Electrician for the Operations and Maintenance dept. at Purdue, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform electrical construction & maintenance on all University secondary electrical systems, lighting systems, control circuits, ETS phones, & transformers. </li><li>Respond to service calls, trouble-shooting & repairs. </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance as dictated by schedules. </li><li>Perform scheduled maintenance on Generators, PLC's, Blvd Lights, Beacon/Windsock, H/C doors. </li><li>Renovate & modifies existing electrical systems. </li><li>Refer to blue prints, work with engineering department and serve as interim to crew chief during the Crew Chiefs absence. </li><li>Overtime will be required in this position. </li><li>Required to carry a pager. </li></ul> <p>Why Purdue?</p> <p>Let your journey begin here, where your work truly matters and your story becomes part of our collective success.
