The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team. As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assess patients before surgery and alleviate their concerns Gather all supplies needed for the operation Keep operating room sterlized Position and prepare patient on the operating table Pass medical instruments or other objects/supplies to the surgeon during operation Monitor patient vital signs to detect anomalies Evaluate patient in post-operative phases Adhere to safety standards and precautions</p> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>4 days Mon-Fri, 10-hour shift, with on-call.</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. </li><li>Must possess licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey </li><li>Previous general, orthopedic, vascular and endoscopic surgery preferred. </li><li>Completion of a BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and IV certification. </li><li>Must have 1-2 years of relevant work experience. </li><li>Must demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• 401k with Company match• Generous paid time off• Paid Holidays• Tuition Reimbursement• Advancement and career development opportunities </li></ul> <p>Influenza Vaccination is a requirement for employment at CarePoint Health.
